conspiracy [kənˈspɪrəsɪ]

Noun: 1. An agreement to perform together an illegal, wrongful, or subversive act.

Example: Princess Diana

On August 31, 1997, Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed were killed in a car accident while trying to get away from press photographers in Paris. Diana was constantly surrounded by photographers and her romance with Fayed had just gone public that August. Diana and Fayed had just had dinner at the Ritz Paris and to avoid photographers, snuck out the back door to an idling Mercedes. After the accident, investigators found the driver had a huge level of alcohol in his bloodstream. The Princess’ car was unable to dodge photographers and reportedly reached speeds of more than 125 mph upon entering a Tunnel, where it went out of control.

 Questions:
Why did the driver of the Mercedes have a large sum of money deposited into his bank account?
-          Conspiracy theorists believe that Diana was killed because the British royal family does not like Muslims, in which Diana was about to marry one.

conspiracy [kənˈspɪrəsɪ]
Noun: 1. An agreement to perform together an illegal, wrongful, or subversive act.
Example: Pearl Harbor

- The Pearl Harbor conspiracy has been the mother of all conspiracies. Who is to be blamed for Pearl Harbor, and why is there a conspiracy in the first place? Therefore, if President Roosevelt, General Marshall, Admiral Kimmel, and Short thought they were doing the nation good by bringing the US into the war through there “conspiracy,” this should not even be considered one. It is clear that Japan attacked Pearl Harbor on December 7th, 1941, in which therefore Japan is to blame for the assault. But the question here is not who is to blame, but who is to blame for not preventing the attack. That is the conspiracy.
Beginning of World War I: Europe started fighting in 1914, and America entered the war in 1917. Peace ran high in the United States; not many wanted the country to enter another war. But first if America were to enter into another war, they would have to be attacked first by an outside force. The United States was not attacked, and we still entered. In 1939, Germany attacked Poland at the start of World War II. America was told to stay neutral, as they did in the begging of World War I, unless attacked first. This meant President Roosevelt needed an excuse. But this excuse was like no other, it was known as the attack on the U.S, but more importantly on the American antiwar sentiment.
Did the United States intercept Japanese messages long before an attack, but failed to warn the Hawaiian base? By the summer of 1940, the United States had cracked Japan’s top secret diplomatic code, nicknamed “Purple.” This enabled United States intelligence agencies to monitor messages to and from Tokyo, Japan. Although several U.S. command posts received machines for decoding “purple”, Pearl Harbor was never given one. On October 9, 1941, Tokyo told its consul in Honolulu to “divide the water around Pearl Harbor into five sub-areas and report on the types and numbers of American war craft. The Japanese foreign minister urged negotiators to resolve issues with the U.S. by November 29, after which “things are automatically going to happen.” On December 1, after negotiations had failed, the U.S. Navy intercepted a request that the Japanese ambassador in Berlin informed Hitler of an extreme danger of war…coming “quicker than anyone dreams.”
The question still stands. Who is the blame for not preventing the attack? Society can research, experiment, and learn tremendous amounts of knowledge about the date of December 7, 1941, but only one thing can be proven and that is the answer.
